  1. I am headed to Jackson Park and Crow basin tomorrow with a friend. This will be my fourth time there. You are correct that the south end of the park is the best place to get down to the lakes. I will take you down next year! I will send you pictures of our trip.

    About 15 years ago, I found myself in your position. That said, I pushed around the East side of the Mtn. and kept heading for Crow 6,7 and 8. My map is 1965 1:24000. Look at quadrant #23. I walked right through the center of that quadrant going North. A REALLY challenging hike is to camp by #8 and hike over that saddle to the Northeast to Albert Lake (U-94)(North of Flat Top).. Lots of fish, but few signs of human visitors!... Congrats on finding your way to supplements. They are the Holy Grail for us "slightly older guys"... :)
